DNC/Obama campaign plan 50-state strategy
I am proud to announce that our presidential campaign will be the first in a generation to deploy and maintain staff in every single state.
I’m really excited about this. The financial advantage that the Obama camp demonstrated during the primary will absolutely help, as well as the organizations in each state that were built up to facilitate a primary season that remained competitive through to the end. This will put McCain and the RNC on defense in states their not in the habit of having to fight for, which will cost money, money that they’d rather be spending in battleground states. This will also be great for downticket races, giving a kick in the butt to the likes of the Senate races in Mississippi, Alaska and Kansas (yes, you read that right, it could happen). It’s smart business, and I like it.
