I heard a woman on NPR yesterday who said she was lifelong Democrat say that she thought she was going to vote for McCain because she was worried about Obama’s tax plan in the current economic climate. I guess she makes more than $603,000 a year. I can see how you would think this is bad if you buy into the “trickle-down economics” theory, but if you’re a lifelong Democrat, that would be kinda weird. Of course, she also said that Obama was a “blank slate” and hadn’t done anything in the Senate while McCain had crossed the aisle several times – someone should tell her about the bill Obama co-sponsored with Republican Senator Dick Lugar on loose nuclear weapons. Well, I guess I can always hope that she finds this blog.
