Are you registered to vote?
The deadline is as early as October 4 (this Saturday). On a personal note, I encourage you to check online or call your local election office to verify that you are, in fact, registered. I almost found that one out the hard way when I became unregistered for no reason before the last election (the primary). Thankfully, Chicago was doing a same day registration early voting thing (Ohio’s doing it this time around, as well). So be sure to double-check your registration before the deadline and cast your ballot on November 4th.

Pass the word along.
