David Gregory to take the reins at Meet the Press
Now that the election season is over, Tom Brokaw will vacate the big chair on Meet the Press with reports that MSNBC’s David Gregory will be the show’s new moderator. Brokaw had been temporarily filling in since Tim Russert’s death in June.
I’m not crazy about this choice. I listened in on Gregory’s Race for the White House during the time he had Rachel Maddow as a regular guest and I was not that impressed with his moderating of the show’s regular panel. And, of course, it’s really hard for me to get this image of David Gregory out of my head:
